At 10pm (Sydney/Melbourne time) tonight, the draw for Euro 2008 qualifiers will be on Fox Sports 2.
As the defending CHAMPIONS, Greece are one of the 8 top seeded teams.
I hope Greece get Turkey, Albania & F.Y.R.M. The top 2 teams in each group qualify for Euro 2008 in Switzerland and Austria. No play off for 2nd place teams this time.
I predict Greece's group will be: 1.Greece 2.Turkey 3.Norway 4.Latvia 5.F.Y.R.M 6.Albania 7.Malta

2004 European champions Greece have been handed a stern test against Turkey as they begin the defence of the trophy they won in Lisbon in July 2004 following today's draw for the qualifying competition of UEFA EURO 2008™ in Montreux, Switzerland.
Portuguese poser
Otto Rehhagel's side must also overcome Norway, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Hungary, Moldova and Malta in Group C if they are to qualify for the 2008 finals in Austria and Switzerland. The side they defeated in the final of UEFA EURO 2004™, meanwhile, hosts Portugal, are in Group A - the only section to include eight teams, with the remaining six groups comprising seven sides - where Poland, Serbia and Montenegro, Belgium, Finland, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, who are competing in this competition for the first time.
Former winners meet
Group B includes two former winners in the shape of Italy, winners in 1968, and France, who triumphed on home soil in 1984 and at UEFA EURO 2000™, while Ukraine - who have qualified for this summer's FIFA World Cup finals, their first major international tournament - are also involved, as are Scotland, Lithuania, Georgia and the Faroe Island. Germany, three-time winners of the competition whose last victory came in EURO '96™, face the Czech Republic in Group D, which also involves Slovakia, Republic of Ireland, Wales, Cyprus and San Marino.
Familiar foes
England and Croatia will meet in Group E having also crossed paths at UEFA EURO 2004™, although Russia and Israel will also hope to challenge for a top-two berth while Estonia, F.Y.R. Macedonia and Andorra are also in contention. Denmark, who were unexpectedly crowned European champions at EURO '92, meet Spain, whose solitary title in senior national-team competition came at the 1964 UEFA European Championship in Group F in which Sweden are the top seeds and Latvia will hope to repeat their qualifying success from UEFA EURO 2004™.
Dutch test
The Netherlands, for whom the 2008 tournament will mark the 20-year anniversary of their European triumph in what was then West Germany, are the top-ranked team in Group G which includes Bulgaria, who were also present in Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Albania, Belarus and Luxembourg.
Qualifying explained
Fifty countries were involved in the draw, which was conducted by two famous names from Austrian and Swiss football in Andreas Herzog and Stéphane Chapuisat respectively, with Austria and Switzerland qualifying automatically as co-hosts of the final round in three summers' time. The groups will be played in a league system on a home-and-away basis, with the qualification games to be played according to the international match calendar between September 2006 and November 2007. The seven winners and seven runners-up of each group qualify for the final tournament.
