Why are certain dogs like Rottweillers and Dobermans associated with the devil. Im just watching The Omen on fox classics and its making me scared of Rotties and we bloody own one. Please explain.

lol man i was a kid.......... i was walking to my aunties house and this stupid gria had her dumb dobermans out they were looking at me funny, so as a kid would i started walking faster then did the bolt, fkk can dogs run, but wen you value your life lol u tooooooooo can run lol k23 i just ran, i ran faster than eva b4 i did not look bak i just kept on running till i jumped the fence of my aunties house....

a doberman or doberman pincher is a mixture of about 5 breeds in one. the breed is probably one of the earliest forms of 'designer dogs' created. It comprises of a rotty, weimanner, german shepherd, great dane and a bit of something else. the breed was created for military and police force use.

about 5 years ago...ive breed approx 2 litters of dobermans..then never again... so i bought my bordie collie after that....

the parents were from champion imported bloodlines and were great built dogs....

reason why i gave them up was many told me that these dogs can go mental after about 3 years of age and can turn against its owners and other people causing more harm and danger...dont wanna be apart of that...

..if you guys ever read teh trading post, look in the pets section, you might find many people want to get rid of their dobermann dog around teh age of 3, due to this reason...

those Rottweillers YES i'd run for my life too lol fark my uncle had one of them jus looking at its eyes freakd me out it was ready to attack me hahaha...

i was once walking to school and i was late...as always and i notived this german shepard looking dog was following me so i started walking faster and so did it..i ran for like 1 km as fast as i could and the dog followed me all the way i just shut the class room door in time, it came into the coridor and all.

its not only large breeds that are considered as 'devil' dogs.

Lately in the past couple of months, smaller breeds of dogs have been biting people.

The Maltese, now these are lil fukers, they been attacking young children

Not by doberman, but by two German Sherpards when I was 7 one bit me on my butt after running to get away from freight. My crime was staring at them. Lucky no scares.

A little mutt bit me at school and then ran into the gym where the guys were jumping on the trampoline, so the little mutt jumps on the trampoline and as this guy was jumping the mutt in mid flight bit him on the lip hahahahahahhahaahhahahahaahahhahahahaha that was so funny.

Not long after my last post a young child got bitten by a jack russell in sydneys western suburbs.

These are small breed dogs.

They look very harmless and innocent. they look no where near a 'devil' or dangerous dog.

Yet it tore off skin from the child.

i went past a pets store and looking in the trading post you see maltese cross, Fox Terrier cross,
Jack Russell Cross etc etc etc


beleive it or not... any dog with the word 'terrier' after it has aggresiveness potential ...
ie Silky Terrier, Bull Terrier, Boston Terrier, Fox Terrier, Jack Russell Terrier , Maltese Terrier , Staffordshire Bull Terrier ...

i agree its funny if not a coincidence but at the same time its true.

in Greek mythology Odysseus travelled to the underworld. at the entrance he has face with a three headed dog that mythology depicts as a Rottweiler. Just like how the church adopted the trident as an evil symbol because it was Poseidon¢s, the Rottweiler is seen as evil because it was Hades¢ pet.

I'm not sure Hade's dog was a rottie...have a look, I'm not sure what breed this is but some dog experts should be able to tell us....
