papadopoulos (whom cant see past that massive nose of his) hit nikopolidis while he was down and that caused him to trip LOOK AT IT WATCH A REPLAY... a penalty is a hand ball in the box like wat happened and the ref never called it
So Papadopoulos who was in possession, decided to tackle Nikopolidis "when he was down"? Obviously it was an epithetiko foul then wasnt it? So your saying that whenever an attacking players falls that it's his fault because he purposely hit into the defensive tackler? Im sorry but the logic doesnt stick, its like saying that you didnt foul the player, he just ran into you and fell down, thats not how football works. I cant believe you just said that.
As for hand balls in the box, look at the first derby this year. I believe it was Kostoulas who did it when he "cleared" a corner. Or maybe thats not an automatic yellow or red as it should be. Maybe the rule didnt even apply to Georgatos when he stopped Bidis from going around him in that same game with his hand? Apparently it's only punishable when it happens to Gavro.

Nikopolidis dived for the ball but when he realised that he couldn't make it he dropped down waiting for Papadopoulos to jump over him, paps knocked him and earnt PAO a penalty which shouldn't have been given anyway, since the ball was at least 3 meters away and he clearly did not have posession.
I dont know where you learnt what you know about football and I dont even know if you watched the game but A. Nikopolidis did not dive for the ball at all and B. Nikopolidis did not drop down waiting for Pap to jump over him. What kind of keeper would duck down to let a player through to a certain goal. He dropped down to spread himself in case Pap hit the ball first time, hence why he spread his arms. Pap received the ball and touched it on to run on to it. Nikopolidis tackled with his feet first, obviously an attempt to tackle the ball, but he missed the ball completely and hit the man. FOUL. How many times do I have to tell you that if you dont play the ball and you play the man then the man falls, it is a foul.
Also "blaze", I think you've been watching a bit too much Aussie Rules because in this game my friend, you dont have to be in possession of the ball to be fouled (even though he was in possession).
