To answer Louky's original question about why there are 1.30% muslims in Greece. It could be that they are from other cultures and they now reside in Greece. Other reason is that they might have converted. Yes I am Greek Orthodox as well but I don't call people immoral for their choices.

you spend a few dollars on some contraception. why abort a child if your responsible of procreating? if you aren't financially able to look after a child you would give it up for adoption or you get some help from those around you.

not all kids who are adopted have worse lives. the ones that become wrecks and lose their sense of identity are the ones who havent been told from an early age, those who were made to believe they werent wanted. if you explain adoption to a child who is in those circumstances when they are old enough to understand they are ok. this isnt based on some general bullshit at the top of my head. my reflections come from an actual family member of mine.


back to the topic at hand though, i havent read everyone's opinions or what has been said in the last 2 or so pages. i dont know if i will but regadless.... religion shouldnt come into it when i a decision is being made. the reason why people do it is because they are too gutless to deal with the reactions of those who think what is being done is immoral. religion may be an important factor of peoples lives, there is no doubt about that, but when you let it lead your life is when you take it too far. religion should be used as a guideline but you shouldnt be influenced by a particular faith because of a majority of religious followers.
