guys, whats the go with basinas?

how we are treating him is shameful

Basinas is gone...he wanted to leave so he got a free transfer...

to where i dont know...

One thing that has been ignored it the fact that Panathinaikos is going through a re building stage with a great deal of new players...

Panathinaikos has produced more players than any other team...and most of the Greek team that one Euro either was playing for PAO or had some previous PAO experience...

If not this year..then next year you will see the best of this team.

Basinas & Olisadebe to West Ham in the transfer window apparently. We need a new CB and left mid, Karagounis is keen to rejoin, i love that man. If only we had my 4 favourites on the team still, Basinas, Mixali, Karagouni & Lybe, pwaaaaaaaa

Basinas to join Everton?

Greece midfielder Angelos Basinas is to join English Premier League club Everton, according to Greek media.

Everton declined to comment on the reports which said that Basinas, a member of the 2004 European Championship-winning side, underwent a medical in Liverpool.

Basinas, who has been without a club since his contract with Panathinaikos expired in September, has previously been linked to Birmingham City and West Ham United.

Ehh, it's been evident that he was gona leave since 03/04. It's sad but all you can do is wish him luck. Apparently the deal with Everton is off but a number of clubs have been chasing him including the ones you mentioned hiNRG and also Tottenham

I think the darkest days in Panathinaikos history are still ahead.

We dont need Olisadebe, he cant run anymore and he is a shadow of his former self. He just cant cut it anymore and even Portsmouth were reluctant to sign him because of his injury worries. I remember he had a trial at Birmingham and he didnt pass because of his knee. He did a lot for the club but he was finished at PAO. We dont need more strikers, we have Mantzios, Papadopoulos, Gekas and Torghelle, we're alright up front. If we could have anyone id have Mixali back for Torghelle, stupid decision. Rumours are Petke, a Romanian midfielder, and some Czech midfielder also. At the start of the windows rumours were two new international defenders. We probably wont get any of them. Rumours also are Lagos from Iraklis
