There are never really any surprises in the NAB cup, anything goes. I still think the winner will be either Bulldogs, Geelong or Freo (i also predicted melbourne, but the hawks beat them).

I only really watched 3 games and St Kilda (although undermanned) REALLY disappointed me. Geelong were super impressive for the first 3 quarters against Richmond, they should've won by 100 points but were soundly beaten in the last quarter. Collingwood played like women too... but at the end of the day this is just for a few extra bucks so hopefully the Rich don't get Richer and the money goes to a team who really does need it.

i almost cried during the essendon carlton match. it was blatently obvious that both teams need to learn that in football you dont kick the ball to the floor. what the fuck?!?? it was so annoying to watch and made a mockery of what people would call football.

thank god carlton won though.

footballers are idiots. Another thing that shits me is when they go to pick the ball of the ground under contest, end up falling over and the other guy runs off with it.

I would wait till the season though to gauge where Carlton really are.
We saw that pre-season last year...

essendon sucks balls most of the time. but i have no choice than to keep supporting them. wouldnt want to be a traitor. unfortunalty i was working when the match was on and didnt get a chance to watch it. the NAB cup usually doesn't show much in relation to how the real season will go. imo.

Most of the teams played like shit but we have to understand even though they've been trainin in the pre-season they've hardly had any real game play. give each team a few games b4 they start becoming good
