Guys i wanna find out who u guys think is the better player Spanoulis(who has been scouted to play in the NBA) or Papaloukas(who was named one of the top 5 players in the world"the all star team" named at the end of the tournament)......

so tell us who u think is the better player and why????

Papaloukas, as i think hes the main Engine in all of Greece's attacks, if Papaloukas dosnt play, we will feel it alot more then the absence of Spanoulis

Papaloukas is a player who will never get as much credit as Spanoulis because he is the assisting, hard working and more defensive point guard. Spanoulis is small, high scoring guard who will get more glory because he is more active in scoring. He makes barely any assists the whole game and does not work as hard. They are two very different players though, so I think it's stupid to compare them. It's like comparing a striker with a midfielder in football.

PS: Spanoulis is already in the NBA as of months ago

Just because the 2 have different playing styles does not mean that they can not be compared! If ur a guard u can easily be put as a point gaurd and vice versa...

These days in any high level of bball competition, there enough players on the bench to rotate everyone on the court so if you are a good point guard you're not going to be played as a power forward or whatever. Versatility is no longer something looked into so much by coaches...

niko if u are a versitile player u are looked apon, who wants a player that can only play in one possition, if u have game style like a gaurd and u u can also be play maker, then of corse ur going to be picked over another player who can only play gaurd!
