Ok guys i can talk about any sport. I luv em all xcept 4 the boring 1s like golf. I think we need to talk about cricket in the forums so thats y i started this thread. I can talk about cricket 4 hours as this is my preferred sport to talk about. I go 4 the NSW blues and Australia. There is somethin like 90 days to go to ashes so i think we should have a discussion on who would win the upcoming ashes series. Most of u guys are probably not cricket fanatics but i am. We can talk about wateva u want regarding cricket and ill contribute to everything. So im waiting for u guys to come up with discuscussion and i thin the 1st discussion topic should be who will win the upcomind ashes series. Will England retain the ashes or will Australia win it back? What d u guys say?

England if they are to retain the ashes wogboy, they would have to have there number one side here.
Apparently Simon Jones, Michael Vaughan and Freddie Flintoff are going to play club cricket before the start of the Ashes, so if we are going to beat England i'd want to beat them with there best eleven

If Shane Warne is playing we will win. I must say i've lost interest in cricket, I used to be fanatical. With the new breed of fuckheads (Lee, Ponting, Gilchrist, Clarke etc.) and the loss of the Waugh brothers, Healey, Slayer, Taylor etc., I lost interest. The current breed of fuckheads will never get me to watch more cricket.
Finally, Ponting is the worst Australian captain in history

I used to love Cricket when I was around 11 and 12 and I remember along with these Aussie kids across the street we always used to play and that's how I got into it.
The Steve Waugh era though was the best Australian Cricket had seen since the late 70's and early 80's with Dennis Lillie, Jeff Thomson, Rod Marsh, Chappell Brothers etc but it has declined in recent years ever since Ponting took over and he is a very poor captain and not very tactically astute.
He has lost two one-day games where a record run chase was produced and especially losing the one-day series in South Africa after posting a world record total is testament to his poor choices as captain.
I do sense a decline coming up for the Australians though.
After losing the Ashes, the new breed of spastics have come in and aren't delivering. Once McGrath and Warne retire, Australia's bowling stocks will be depleted and as for batting, they aren't all very consistent besides the openers in Hayden and Langer.

Cricket is kool. Go Australia!! Theyll win the ICC champions trophy. Niko i reckon some playesr have to go personally to. Theyve been under performing. And btw Mike Hussey shouldve been in the aussie squad 10 years ago. Hes come into Australia and saned their ass how many times? But the legends of the games will never be matched i have to agree with niko there. Lara, Tendulkar, Waugh, Lillie, Viv Richards etc and DON BRADMAN who will never be matched.

Australia paying $2.50 to win the champions trophy ... decent odds for the world champs

Hellenic Cricket FederationThe Hellenic Cricket Federation is the governing body of cricket in Greece. The current President is Evagelos Himarios. Greece was accepted into the European Cricket Council (ECC) in 1995.
The Federations headquarters are on the island of Corfu were cricket is mostly played. Cricket was brought to Greece by the English who owned the Ionian Islands for 50 years. Many of the players and coaches are Pakistanis. Greece came runners-up in the 2005 European Affiliates Championships that took place August of that year.
Greece has 15 official clubs of which 13 are on Corfu, one is in Athens and one is in Thessaloniki. Cricket remains a minor sport in Greece, however, with almost zero media coverage around Greece.
