Καστίγιο: Θα ήθελα να αγωνιστώ στην Εθνική Ελλάδας
Ουρουγουάη και Μεξικό μάχονται για να πείσουν τον Καστίγιο να αγωνιστεί με την εθνική ομάδα της χώρας τους, αλλά ο άσος του Ολυμπιακού συνεχώς αρνείται τις προσκλήσεις, για να μένει αφοσιωμένος στις υποχρεώσεις των "ερυθρολεύκων". Το αγαπημένο παιδί της Θύρας 7 αιφνιδίασε τους πάντες, όταν με δηλώσεις του στην "ΟΜΑΔΑ" αποκάλυψε ότι θέλει να αγωνιστεί στην Εθνική Ελλάδος. Εκτός από τα προσωπικά του όνειρα και στόχους, ο "Νιντέντο" αναφέρθηκε στην σταθερή επαφή που έχει με τα δίχτυα, αλλά και για τους στόχους του Ολυμπιακού. (14/8 16:34)

people don't bite my head off but haven't there been many player's that play for different NT instead of the national team of the country they were born in...
I think like DECO.. isn't he Brazilian??

Deco is a Brazilian born, naturalised Portugese player.
Greece has never played a non-Greek in their team and never should.
By the way, this news is really really really old.
If you want to see nationalised squads, look at France

I wasn't saying it was a good idea..
I was just stating that it isn't un common...
I personally like neri but i wouldn't want to see him on Greece's NT

No he should not play for Greece. He does not have Greek blood. I love him as a player though. Glad he re signed for us.

I would love to see him play for Greece. He went there when he was 16 years old & probably speaks Greek better than most of us. If he wants to spill his blood for Greece, rather than Uruguay & Mexico, whom have both called him up at under 21's & now senior level, why not? Masmanidis has Greek blood in him & didnt reject Germany when called up at under 21's level. He might not have Latino blood but he has the Greek eye brows.
