The Automotive Lifestyle Show (Autosalon) was held last weekend on the 5th & 6th of May, @ the Sydney Showground. Unfortunately i wasn't able to attend.
So guys, any feedback would be much appreciated.
I heard there was a WRX ute on show..
A chrome adrenaline industrie drift car & the super GT supra race car.

One hundred hunks of Japanese shit, sitting in a pile in a big showroom full of muzzas. That's my #1 weekend right there
You'd be surprised, last years autosalon had a variety of european cars.
The autosalon is not what it used 2 be,when it was first introduced the cars where worth the entry fee and actually had worthy modifications done to the vehicle where it would actually make you think twice and actually be impressed with the modifications.
Unlike the past two years where you see lancers,civics,crxs,integras with clear tail lights,no springs,18in and 19in wheels from tempe tyres,ozzy tyres and leather interior and they enter there cars in autosalon like there king shit.
The autosalon has become a business now cause they know people will waste there money to go see cars which you can see on a fri sat nite in the city and the rocks the only good thing out of the autosalon are the promo girls and the dyno.

its not what it used to be, i went 2 years ago and that one wasnt as appealing.
it used to be a good exibition, with stalls with anything and everything in relation to cars.
people aint into these kinda things no more. i guess with car-jacking being on the rise, people can see your car and then you and your car becomes a target for car jacking if not for theft.
its the same cars over and over again, maybe difference is bigger rims, bigger exhaust etc
If you decide to go autosalon go to the Final Battle as
its an invitation only and you also see the winners from
other autosalons over the states,you actually get to see
vehicles you have never seen before.
Most vehicles at the autosalon are either all show and no go
or there just your average rice burners with wheels to big to
fit under the guards,exhausts that are bigger than canals and
more wings then you would find at an airport.

LOL! You know i'm going to have to agree, the only time i'd prefer to go to the autosalon would be at the final battle. However, you see, alot of the modifications on these show cars are rather cosmetic. They rarely show any modification of their engine work, so imagine their torque and performance on the road?
It'd probably be fairly shocking considering the pedigree of the cars
