Which head to head clash or clashes do you guy think will decide the result in the Australia v Greece international on May 25?
Here are some of the posible clashes:

Seitaridis v Kewell?
Samaras v Moore?
Dellas v Viduka?
Giannakopoulos v Lazaridis?
Charisteas v Vidmar?
Zagorakis v Bresciano?
Basinas v Cahill?
Karagounis v Cullina?
Anamatidis v Grella?
Rehhagel v Hiddink?

It will be interesting this weekend to see how the battle between Giorgios Samaras (Man City forward) and Craig Moore (Newcastle Utd defender) goes.

In my opinion if Seitaridis can close down Harry Kewell, Australia will get frustrated.

Head to head I think the Greeks have it covered, but remember, this is a team sport, but Greece has that covered too. th_gunsmilie.gif

Are you on GS?

Seitaridis v Kewell?
Seitaridis has this one hands down because he is simply physically superior to Kewell while matching him on a technical level

Samaras v Moore?
Moore has always had trouble dealing with good technical forwards

Dellas v Viduka?

I dont know if Dellas will play but this will be a very odd match up if it happens. I'd say that one of the back 4 (excluding Dellas) will be assigned to man-mark Viduka

Giannakopoulos v Lazaridis?
Stelios is in great form for Bolton, Lazaridis hasnt really produced anything in the last few years, isnt in the first XI and shouldnt this really be Chipperfield vs Stelios?? Stelios would eat Chipperfield anyway

Charisteas v Vidmar?
Depends if Xaristeas comes out to play

Zagorakis v Bresciano?
Zagorakis has lost it a bit but has been there for the NT in bigger games. I'd say you'd see more clashes between Bresciano and Basinas then Zagorakis and Bresciano

Basinas v Cahill?
Haa!! I dont have to tell you what AGGELOS will do to Cahill

Karagounis v Cullina?
Karagounis is doing not badly with Benfica and tends to come out to play for the NT, on his day he has bettered the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United, Real Madrid etc. midfielders. He can beat Cullina anyday

Anamatidis v Grella?
Amanatidis will not play I dont think

Rehhagel v Hiddink?
Who knows?

RE paidia - in a discussion like this it's not fair to be so biased. I would be very careful.

To be quite honest in this day & age - Australia's midfield is too mobile for the Greeks to handle. Australia will be giving it their all as World Cup spots will be up for grabs.

Too big of an ask for the Greeks to win - but crazier things have happened.

Yes Greece won Euro 2004 when everyone thought they had no chance.
