Ι saw this picture and thought it was absolutely beautiful. The solemn looks on both the Παναγιας and Jesus's face seem to fortell what lies ahead. A motherly love towards this child who she knows will never have the life that she would wish for him. And the child much wiser and knowing than one of this young age. I love this picture. Its so dark and sad.
