This Sunday (19/07/2009) at Belmore Sports Ground (Edison Lane, Belmore, NSW, 2192) two times NSL Champions, Sydney Olympic will be playing against Sydney FC for the battle of Sydney. Fans are already eager for this game and ticket sales indicate that a large crowd is expected.
The gates at Belmore Sports Ground will open at 12pm with three enticing games forming the undercard to the main event that kicks off at 5.30pm.
At 12pm Sydney Olympic's Under 18's side will take on the NSW Institute of Sport Under 18's, followed at 2pm with Olympic's Under 16's facing the Australian National Deaf team.
At 3.45pm the Sydney Olympic Legends take on an All Star Legends team. Players expected to play in this match include Peter Katholos, Marshall Soper, Chris Kalantzis, Mark Koussas, Abbas Saad, Francis Awaritife, Zlatko Arambasic, John Kosmina, Charlie Yankos and more.
It will be a great time to pick up some Sydney Olympic merchandise as special discounts of up to 30% off will apply on the day. Sydney FC will also have a marquee for the sale of merchandise, memberships and possibly autograph opportunities. Red Bull will also be on hand with promotions and giveaways throughout the day.
