Hi everyone - I thought I would pass on some good news and bad news from Greek Toys and Books.
First – the Good news.
We have just added 60 new products to our website taking our total range to over 300 Greek children’s products to help encourage Greek language learning in Australia.
A highlight of our new products include:
• New range of bilingual talking toys
• New Greek children’s books including First Greek reader series with Dora the Explorer, Spot Books and even the original Alphavitario!
• New Greek Fisher-Price toys including a new learning teddy
• Greek singing Barbie doll
• New Greek Games and Learning Puzzles category where we have interactive puzzles to help with Greek word recognition as well as Junior Scrabble and a map of Greece jigsaw puzzle.
• Interactive Talking Book category
• And more!!!
Now for the bad news….As you would be aware we import the majority of our products direct from Greece and need to pay for our products in Euro. The Australian dollar has dropped in value considerably against the Euro in recent months (over 20 per cent).
As a result of this and increased freight costs, we reluctantly have no option but to increase the price of many of our products (particularly toys). So it is not all bad news, before we do so, we are giving customers an opportunity to purchase products at the existing prices until 13 November 2008 (prices will rise on 14 November).
It might be a good opportunity to check out the exciting new products and think about getting in early for Christmas as well as beating the price rise.
We would like to thank you for your understanding and welcome your continued support.
As always, we welcome any referrals to help as many people find out that our ever-growing range of Greek language products are available in Australia.
Please feel free to contact us if you need any assistance!
Best wishes
Tony
