All this fucking controversy all because they wanted their precious red necked Leyton to win and kick the ethnics out.

So true.
I reckon they did all that cause they wanted Lleyton to win too.
The Aussies just don't get it. Australia is a young country with no real threat. I'd love to see how they'd react if Japan for example, came and took over half of it. Since they haven't experienced the hardships and ethnic tentions the Greeks, Croats and Serbs have, they are inacapable of understanding where we're coming from.
They have no idea of what 'national pride' means. Look at all the ads for Australia on TV. They're all focussed on BBQs.
They just see Australia Day as a day off and the opportunity to get smashed.

What shits me is the people who report these things. Most people are racist, no matter how much they deny it, how many people have been stuck behind a car only to pass them, find out they are Asian and the say fucking Asians or fucking Indians. I'm sure even the news people themselves (including the researchers and writers) are guilty of doing this once in a while. The fact remains that Markos was saying what he believes and he is not the only person in the world with this "racist" opinion.

Like someone said in the other topic the media got exactly what they wanted

Mate im glad the media brought the issue into light.
The Greek community has been protesting this act of injustice since the invasion in "74". Marko should be congradulated for brining this issue into the light even though the media did way down on him hevely he is a legend.
I have been marchin for years up to the steps of parliament and we are neva shown on the news or anything. BRAVO MARKO
